The Churches' interventions in discussion of London's Economy need to be based on sound information. Our purpose is to draw together the expertise of a wide variety of people working in London and to make this available. a) to advise on ways and means of the church fulfilling a ministry towards the industrial, commercial and urban community; b) to encourage and extend the work of the industrial chaplains; c) to forward the training of Christian leadership and d) to stimulate public opinion on relations between the Christian faith and industrial, commercial and economic life. We operate through four practitioner groups related to the objectives set out below. Mission in London's Economy was launched on the 9th March 2005. The full conference report can be seen here.
